1. Army Officer: Candidates can join the Indian Army as officers in various branches such as Infantry, Artillery, Armored Corps, Engineers, Signal Corps, etc. |

Important facts about NDA exam: |

1. The NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year. |

2. Only male candidates who are unmarried and aged between 16.5 to 19.5 years are eligible to apply for the exam. |

3. The exam consists of two stages – a written exam and SSB interview. |
|
4. The written exam consists of two papers – Mathematics and General Ability Test. |
|
5. Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the SSB interview, which includes a series of tests to assess the candidate’s intelligence, personality, and leadership qualities. |

6. Upon clearing both stages of the exam, candidates are selected for training at the NDA and subsequently commissioned as officers in the Indian Armed Forces. |
